Typical middle Roman Attic lamp fabric (fine), hard fired, thin, even, matte slip (purplish).
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 25% from upper back part of lamp, including less than one-quarter of discus and shoulder and upper handle. Slight, moderately extensive abrasion and rare pitting; worn breaks; thick film of encrustation in relief.
