Wide-mouth cup or bowl. Plain, pointed lip; vertical rim, slightly convex, above carination. Thin walled.
Fabric, firing, surface
Pale red. Somewhat hard, very fine; consistently fired; smooth break. Very rare, faint, tiny white and dark bits but mostly clean. Thin, semimatte, mostly even black glaze but slightly thinner on exterior.
Preservation description
One sherd preserves 6% of rim down to carination. Moderate, extensive abrasion with slight surficial erosion; worn breaks; faint pale discoloration across interior. Weathering from marine submersion?
