Description
Cup or bowl. Wide-flaring ring base with slightly ridge outer edge. Rounded lower body. Black glaze on interior, band around outside face of foot; two bands on underside.
Fabric, firing, surface
Buff; more pink at surfaces (1-2 mm). Hard, fine fabric; smooth break. Uncommon, tiny, light and dark bits, well sorted. Corinthian.
Preservation description
One sherd preserves 23% of base and small part of floor and lowermost wall. Moderate, extensive abrasion and marginal chipping; worn breaks; small, thin patches of encrustation.
