Description
Heavy and thick walled. Steep sloping shoulder; tall cylindrical neck; thick collar rim, undercut, with rounded lip, delineated on exterior face. Tall vertical handles, oval in section. Stamp of producer in rectangular format centered on shoulder: T·H·B .
Preservation description
One large sherd preserves large part of neck, entire neck and mouth, one entire handle and upper attachment of other handle. Extensive, moderate abrasion with minor shipping and frequent scoring to gouging; severely worn breaks; extensive film of gray discoloration and rough patches of encrustation. Weathering consistent with long marine submersion.
