Pale buff. Somewhat fine, slightly hard; smooth break. Uncommon lime specks and tiny, mixed bits. Regional.
Preservation comment
Intact. Extensive pitting and gouging with large chips removed from surface and edges; worn breaks; large, thick, irregular patches of mortar across all surfaces, including lateral attachment.
