Fabric, firing, surface
Pinkish orange fabric, consistently fired; fine, hard, smooth with vaguely conchoidal break; rare, tiny specks, well sorted, light and dark. Orange slip with a tinge of red, somewhat thin, even, semimatte, smooth but worn and flaking. Central Tunisian cf. ARS C ware.
Preservation description
One sherd preserves ca. 30% of right shoulder and rim down wall. Slight, sparse abrasion; slightly worn breaks; no encrustation but cloudy white encrustation.
