Description
Short, conical toe. Interior has finishing swirl at lowest point.
Fabric, firing, surface
Dark brown fabric, consistently fired; very hard, coarse, with granular texture; frequent, small to medium, mixed sandy bits (varied shapes and colors), some glistening (qaurtzite?).
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves entire toe and small part of lower body. No original surfaces: extensive erosion and pitting from water wear (on beach?); thin patches of encrustation.
