- Description
- Crater. Narrow horizontal rim with sharp edges, flat on top and vertical outer face. Upper wall is slightly concave (H. 0.049) down to small edge that marks transition to inward sloping lower wall.
- Fabric, firing, surface
- Grayish brown but somewhat splotchy, mostly consistently fired. Sandy fabric, rough texture; granular break. Frequent, small, light, rounded and angular inclusions. Near Eastern.
- Preservation description
- One fragment preserves very small part of rim and roughly one quarter of upper wall. Slight abrasion around edges otherwise clean breaks; thick, rough, extensive film of encrustation on all surfaces.
