Description
Large, heavy handle, oval in section.
Fabric, firing, surface
Pale reddish yellow, consistently fired?; hard, slightly coarse, with slightly hackly break; so far as can be discerned through encrustation: tiny to small, mixed bits (white, gray, red?); rare elongated and platy gray splinters.
Preservation description
One sherd preserves upper attachment and uppermost segment from one handle. Extensive chipping; dulled and worn breaks; encrustation covers all surfaces.
