Description
Large jug or amphora. Loop handle, angular and spined.
Fabric, firing, surface
Pale grayish brown core (10YR 7/4), fired yellowish at surfaces (3-6 mm). Fine, moderately hard, with smooth break and surface; rare, small, well sorted, sub-rounded dark and tabular reddish inclusions, with infrequent small varied bits (some quartzitic?). Thin, even wash on surface slightly more pale than fabric.
Preservation description
One sherd preserves middle to upper segment of one handle. Very slight, rare abrasion and chipping; mostly clean breaks and surfaces.
