Description
Heavy handle extending horizontally from upper attachment, circular in section. Reused as pestle.
Fabric, firing, surface
Brownish red fabric, consistently fired. Hard, sandy; hackly break. Common, well sorted, small varied inclusions (red angular, dark gray to black, many light from white to yellow); rare, large, angular lime chunks.
Preservation description
One sherd preserves segment of lower handle to attachment. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion with erosion(?) and pitting and large chips; worn breaks; faint cloud of incipient encrustation.
