Brownish red, fired to slightly orangish red at surface (1-2mm); hard, coarse, with slightly hackly break; with common, small, rounded inclusions (quartzitic sand?), very small white specks (lime?), and mixed tiny brown and gray bits. Western Mediterranean? Pontic?
Preservation comment
One sherd from upper handle. Extensive, slight abrasion with rare gouging and pitting; worn breaks. Slightly water-worn. Traces of scorching.
