Description
Convex body. Painted design of five straight to slightly curving lines in parallel. Faint turning ridges.
Fabric, firing, surface
Reddish brown to orange fabric, slightly granular, with frequent varied tiny sandy inclusions, occasional round lime and angular quartz. Consistently fired to slightly darker red at surface. Thin, somewhat even, matte paint is yellowish white. Northern Palestinian.
Preservation comment
One small body sherd. Slight to moderate, extensive erosion and abrasion; worn edges.
