Small pitcher. Plain disk base, slightly concave, with beveled outer face. Globular or biconical(?) body. Prominent wheelridging on lower body.
Fabric, firing, surface
Reddish brown, fired to pale gray at surface (2-5 mm but thicker at base). Hard, coarse fabric with granular break but vaguely laminar structure and slightly rough texture. Uncommon, well sorted, tiny to small lime specks and rare, small, subangular, offwhite particles (limestone?), few at surface. Corinthian cooking ware.
Preservation description
One sherd preserves ca. 65% of base and lower wall. Slight, sparse abrasion; slightly worn breaks; little or no encrustation.
