Typological identification
Early/Middle Roman Corinthian Lamp, Palaimonion
Description
Small plain bowl. Short thickened, everted rim with triangular profile.
Fabric, firing, surface
Slightly granular, very pale red/light brown fabric with occasional tiny light and fewer tiny dark inclusions. Thin, even, white slip over surfaces.
Preservation comment
Four sherds, rim and upper wall. Slight, sparse abrasion especially around rim; worn breaks; very rare specks of encrustation.
