Pale red with tinge of yellow, fired to reddish yellow at surface. Hard, somewhat coarse; slightly granular break, mostly smooth texture. Mixed, well sorted, uncommon, small, irregular, white and dark gray inclusions (some calcareous, opening at surface); rare, small, subangular, offwhite, opaque chunks. Regional but notably gritty.
Preservation description
One small sherd preserves ca. 10% of base and small part of lower wall. Slight, sparse abrasion; somewhat worn breaks; scattered, small patches of encrustation and rare clouds of black discoloration.
