- Description
- Wide sloping shoulder and cylindrical neck. Horizontal loop handles, oval in section, ridged. Low, broad ridging on shoulder under lower handle attachment.
- Fabric, firing, surface
- Dull orange fabric; gritty, slightly sandy texture; abundant sand inclusions: rounded, rare, dark gray to black bits; rare, small calcareous bits; rare crumbly reddish brown bits (ferrous?); quartizite.
- Preservation comment
- One shoulder preserves one handle and contiguous shoulder and neck. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and rare pitting; slightly worn breaks; rare specks to thin patches of encrustation.
