Fabric, firing, surface

Dark gray fabric fired to pale gray at surface (1-2mm). Hard, somewhat coarse fabric; somewhat hackly break. Rare, small, subangular and tabular light (calcareous?) bits and small, sharp, light gray fragments. Regional.

Preservation comment

One sherd preserves ca. 8% of rim and upper neck. Very sparse, minor abrasion and large chips; somewhat clean breaks; thin encrustation in patches.
