Pale brown with a tinge of red. Hard, rather fine; smooth break. Rare, tiny lime specks; rare, small, subangular, dark red chunks (mineral) and offwhite (limestone?); scattered thin, elongated voids in section.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves toe and part of lower body. Moderate, extensive abrasion and chipping around edges; worn breaks; sparse thin patches of encrustation.
