BUILDING MATERIALS. Stone (1 fr., 0.05 kg): 1 bluish gray schistose marble revetment (p.L. 0.083, Th. 0.008). Mortar/plaster: 42 frr., 13.10 kg. Tesserae (647): 379 white, 93 red, 175 black. Tile/brick: 157 frr., 39.30 kg.

POTTERY. Byzantine (1 fr., 0.013 kg): 1 body: bowl, interior has white slip and yellow glaze (12th-13th century).

Glass (8 frr.): 1 body, light greenish yellow, thin (convex wall with red-painted floral design: hemispherical cup?, KM402); 1 body/base, light yellowish green (conical or ovoid beaker, KM403); 1 body, light greenish yellow (straight wall with applied, opaque, dark blue blob); 2 body, light blue; 1 body, colorless; 2 base, light blue (concave bottom).

Massive structural debris from catastrophic collapse of Octagon, with slight contamination from WWII ditch cutting down into Octagon.
