Early-Middle Roman, with little earlier or later material.
Explanation of deposition
Sediment over bedrock from Early-Middle Roman use and disuse of area.
Location in unit
Low level across trench, alongside north wall of room B1-II.
Soil matrix
Light yellowish brown (10YR 6/4), moderately compact, medium-fine sand, homogeneous texture with very few small pebbles (<1 cm range).
