Gradual natural accumulation of sediment that contains residual material and material representing first major phase of activity in area during Early Roman period.

Explanation of deposition
Widespread colluvium over sandstone across slope.
Soil matrix
Light yellowish brown to very pale brown (10YR 6/4-7/4), mostly compact but with loose patches, sandy silt with many pebbles to gravel (1-4 cm range) and frequent calcareous chunks (8-10+ cm range). Surface of bedrock is very hard and irregular.
