Description
Gradual natural accumulation of sediment that contains residual material and material representing activity in area throughout Roman era.

Chronology comment
Mostly Early Roman-Late Roman/Early Byzantine (1st-6th century) with little Greek residue.
Explanation of deposition
Widespread colluvium across slope.
Soil matrix
Yellowish brown to very pale brown (10YR 5/4-7/4, 8/3-7/3), somewhat compact to hard, fine sandy silt to silty clay with many pebbles (<1-2 cm range) and occasional lenses of dense pebbles especially on central slope; clumps forming around calcareous chunks (8-10 cm range).
