- Description
- Bowl, nearly carinated, with small, low, ring foot, sloping floor, and plain, rounded rim. Three subtypes (A-C) vary from relatively deeper with more flaring walls to relatively shallower with more vertical inward sloping walls. Uncommon Middle Roman ARS form.
- Chronology comment
- Bonifay (pp. 157, 159) downdated the Hayes chronology thus: 14A=end 2nd/beginning 3rd century; 14B=3rd century (first half?); 14C=3rd century.
