Small bowl, thin walled, with small, low, squared ring foot, steep curving wall, and wide, flat, flaring, grooved rim, in later forms bearing elaborated lip and appliqué. Two subtypes: one relatively smaller with plain rim (A); and one relatively larger with plain, grooved and hooked lip and well spaced appliqué. Uncommon ARS form chiefly of the 4th century.
