Description
Small, shallow bowl with medium-sized ring foot, flat or nearly flat floor, curving wall, and narrow, flaring rim, flat on upper face, somewhat horizontal to drooping. Three subtypes (see Bonifay2004): one of relatively larger size (A); one of relatively smaller size, sometimes with central stamp (B); and one of relatively very small size with interior grooving (C). Rare ARS type of the end of the 5th to beginning of the 7th century.
