Description
Flat discus has raised triple circles and raised rim. Broad shoulder with rounded rim has triple banded decoration, with braids on outside and raised dots on inside, separated by ridges. All decorative details are sharply rendered.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: 10YR 6/2, light brownish gray (interior) to 5YR 5/3, reddish brown (exterior). Hard, smooth, fine, slightly micaceous fabric with uncommon, small, rounded to subrounded, white and very rare, medium to large, angular, black inclusions. Unglazed.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves <25% of shoulder and small part of discus.
