Description
Flat base has single wide, circular groove around incuse signature in two lines separated by small circle: Π|Α̣.
Fabric, firing, surface
Typical fabric, firing, and surface treatment for ware but unusually gritty. 2.5YR 6/6, light red. Slip: 2.5YR 6/3, light reddish brown. Hard, medium coarse fabric. Thin, even, dull slip preserved across base.
Preservation description
One small fragment preserves 25% of base. Slightly worn breaks; patches of encrustation in grooves.
