Tear-shaped(?) outline. Slightly sloping shoulder has wavy lines. Low, wide, solid handle with three grooves pinched and misaligned with seem. Very slight webbing.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 5YR 7/4, pink. Slip: 10YR 4/6, dark yellowish brown. Late Roman Athenian fabric: hard, slightly coarse clay with common, subangular to subrounded, very small white and black inclusions. Thin, uneven, semilustrous slip, almost a wash, preserved in traces on handle and exterior.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves small part of shoulder, nearly entire handle, and less than one quarter of body. Slight, extensive abrasion and chipping; slight to moderate, extensive encrustation.
