Description
Pinched volutes forming ribs below rounded nozzle.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 5 YR 7/6, reddish yellow. Slip: 5YR 3/2, dark reddish brown. Smooth, somewhat soft clay with numerous small micaceous flecks and very rare, very small to small, round calcite inclusions. Semilustrous, thin, uneven slip flaking in large patches.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves roughly one half of nozzle. Slight, sparse abrasion and scoring; scattered traces of encrustation.
