Late Roman Athenian lamp, late glazed
Description
Tear-shaped or oval(?) outline. Sloping shoulder has wavy lines.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
5YR 7/8, reddish yellow. Late Roman Athenian fabric. Slip is a very thin, dull, even wash visible especially on shoulder and upper wall.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves small part of left shoulder. Slight, sparse abrasion; scattered specks of encrustation.
