Description
Pinched volutes form ribs below rounded nozzle.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 5YR 7/6, reddish yellow. Slip: 10R 5/8, red. Fine, hard, smooth fabric with very rare, very small, rounded calcite inclusions. Semilustrous, somewhat thick, mostly even slip on exterior and interior. Cf. KL025 for materials.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves roughly one third of nozzle. Well preserved surface but scattered specks of encrustation.
