Circular, almost flat, plain discus has central fill hole with raised rim, small hole off center, and tall rim that slopes inward to slightly undercut rim. Narrow, plain shoulder slopes steeply outward. Single row of small, uneven globules applied to outside joint between rim and shoulder.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 5Y 6/1, gray. Slip: 7.5YR 6/1, gray. Hard, fine fabric with uncommon micaceous inclusions and very small, rare, subrounded, white particles. Thick, uneven slip, somewhat flakey, in slightly darker gray continues on inside through holes.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves one quarter of discus and rim. Slight, sparse abrasion; scattered traces of encrustation.
