- Early/Middle Roman Asia Minor Lamp, red-on-white
- Description
- Circular outline. Circular discus with flat, narrow framing ring. Broad shoulder has large ovules. Ring handle with two grooves attaches at discus rim and midway to base.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Fabric: 2.5YR 6/8, light red. Slip: 10R 5/8, red. White underslip. Ephesian fabric. Semiglossy, thick, somewhat uneven slip, flakey.
- Preservation comment
- One small fragment preserves small part of shoulder and upper handle. Slight, extensive abrasion; scattered specks of encrustation.
