Circular outline. Plain circular discus has central filling hole and framing ring. Shoulder has medium to large ovules. Semi-volute nozzle with small airhole at base. Narrow, pierced, double grooved handle that terminates near mid-wall, well above base. Circular, plain, slightly raised base.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Clay: 2.5YR 6/4, light reddish brown. Slip: 5YR 5/6, yellowish red, to 5YR 3/3, dark reddish brown. Very fine, medium hard fabric, pinkish hue, with no visible inclusions or voids. Bright matte to semiglossy, thin, somewhat uneven slip is flakey across handle and on sides; lighter and thinner streaking down sides. Fingerprint on front right wall. Knidian fabric.
Preservation comment
Intact except front nozzle down to base. Well preserved surface.
