Description
Oval(?) outline. Circular to elliptical(?), concave discus with uncertain relief (thin raised shape to upper left with small filling hole upper center and raised, rounded framing ring. Rounded, outward sloping shoulder has small, spaced globules. Narrow, low, solid handle has three grooves.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 5YR 7/4, pink. Slip: 2.5YR 4/3, reddish brown. Fine, somewhat soft fabric with infrequent, somewhat small, subrounded, gray inclusions. Thin, semilustrous, even slip detaching in patches and small flakes, extends inside along upper wall. Cf. KL1969-001, KP1969-002.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves less than one quarter of discus, one third of shoulder, and upper handle. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion and flaking; traces of encrustation.
