Description
Circular outline. Circular discus has central filling hole, rays, and raised, flat framing ring. Wide sloping shoulder has large ovules. Flat kite-shaped nozzle. Narrow handle has two grooves.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
10YR 7/4, very pale brown. Early/Middle Roman Corinthian lamp fabric: somewhat soft.
Preservation comment
Four joining sherds preserve roughly two thirds of discus, roughly one handle of shoulder, and upper handle. Slight, extensive abrasion.
