Description
Wide, circular or oval(?) outline. Circular base has three concentric raised rings.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 7.5YR 8/4, pink. Middle Roman Athenian lamp fabric: somewhat soft fabric with rare, small, subrounded, black inclusions and very rare, medium-sized, subangular, calcitic particles visible at surface. Unglazed.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves less than one quarter of base and lower wall below seem. Moderate, extensive abrasion and slight scoring around edges; slight, sparse film of encrustation.
