Description
Bowl, ARS Hayes Form 8A. Straight flaring upper wall. Outwardly thickened rim with sharp exterior underside, convex molding and then small ridge below; two corresponding grooves on interior. Two uneven lines of rouletting on rim molding. Form: LRP pp. 32-35, fig. 4, esp. nos. 3, 4 (from Sousse and Germa).
Fabric description
Typical early ARS fabric and slip. Clean, smoothed surface.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves small part of rim. Slight chipping around edges.
