- Description
- Conical cup. Curved, flaring wall. Vertical rim with concave outer face, defined at bottom by thick undercut band, almost a flange; pointed lip with triangular outer face and indentation on inner face with groove below.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Very fine, somewhat soft fabric, consistently fired to light red, with uncommon, well sorted, small, rounded to subrounded, white (calcitic) inclusions and tiny glistening micaceous flakes visible in breaks. Thin, even, semiglossy slip was originally darker and well smoothed.
- Preservation comment
- Three joining sherds preserve 25% of rim and body down to near base. Slight to moderate, spare abrasion and rare flaking; worn breaks. Slip largely missing on interior and largely extant on exterior.
