Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale red fired slightly lighter at surface. Somewhat hard, slightly gritty fabric; smooth break. Common tiny bits, poorly sorted, including subrounded uncommon lime and mostly gray, dark red(?), and black. Even, thin, pale white wash as undercoat; even, semiglossy glaze, thicker in grooves and irregularly accumulated on bottom; bright white with tinge of green but drops of green on bottom. dark green but mottled. Faint turning scratches across body; string-cut base.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve complete vessel but missing handle. Slight, sparse abrasion around edges and minor chipping at lip but large flakes from shoulder; mostly clean breaks; rare specks of encrustation.
