Probably a late derivative (direct molding?) from the Late Hellenistic type with small, plain discus; wide shoulder displaying tongues in relief; and spirals at base of elongated nozzle (Broneer Type XXIVD; see comparanda).

Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish orange fabric, consistently fired; fine, hard, slightly granular break; uncommon, small, subrounded, line inclusions, and rare, tiny dark gray to black bits. Thin, even, semiglossy slip over outside and most of inside. Athenian.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 45% of right shoulder, ca. 55% of discus, and base of handle. Slight, somewhat sparse abrasion and pitting; mostly clean breaks; faint, sparse patches of encrustation.
