Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical fabric, firing (hard), and surface treatment (thick, somewhat even, semiglossy slip, purplish brown) for type.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 25% of top left part of lamp, including less than one-quarter of discus and shoulder to lateral edge of wickhole, and small part of wall. Very slight abrasion and chipping around edges; mostly clean breaks; scattered, thick specks of encrustation.
