Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pinkish orange fabric, consistently fired slightly more reddish orange at surface. Hard, fine; smooth to slightly hackly break. Rare, tiny to very small, well sorted, varied bits; very rare, small, angular, white (lime) inclusions; very rare, small subangular inclusions; highly micaceous. Finely smoothed surface, with knife trimming around toe. Slip: red; somewhat thick, even, semimatte dipped slip(?) extends down to toe and over side. Knidian?
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves entire toe and part of lower body. Surface in good condition, apart from deep vertical gouge above toe; breaks show only slight wear.
