Typical fabric, firing, and surfae treatment for ware: fine, slightly soft fabric; mostly smooth break; rare, subangular lime chunks and common, tiny silvery micaceous flakes; thin, even but flaking, gray slip everywhere on exterior, semimatte with faint metallic sheen.
Preservation comment
Three joining sherds preserve complete lamp. Moderate, extensive abrasion and minor scratching and chipping around rim; no visible encrustation.
