Fabric, firing, and surface description
10YR 8/3, very pale brown. Hard, gritty fabric, consistently fired, with somewhat granular break. Uncommon to common, well sorted, subrounded and rounded, tiny to small mostly black and few dark red particles; very rare, angular, medium, dark red (iron oxide?) chunks. Lines and splotches from inconsistent wet-smoothing around neck.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 25% of neck and shoulder and one entire handle. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion and minor pitting; worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
