Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 2.5YR 6/8, light red. Slip: 7.5YR 8/3, pink. Hard, medium fine fabric, somewhat smooth to splintery break, slightly rough surfaces. Uncommon, well sorted, tiny varied bits, including black and brown particles; very rare, small, irregular, white chunks (calcareous) breaking at surface. Rare small voids. Slip as thin, even wash. Fine, crowded brushstroke across surface.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves small part of upper shoulder near articulation with neck. Slight abrasion everywhere and chipping around edges; worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
