Fabric, firing, and surface description
Late Roman Attic fabric (heavy, somewhat gritty), firing, and surface. Slight webbing, smoothed seam; slight right misalignment of handle.
Preservation comment
Two large joining sherds preserve ca. 65% of lamp, including roughly three-quarters of discus and shoulder, entire handle, one-half of nozzle, and nearly entire wall and base. Slight, sparse abrasion and chipping; mostly clean breaks; thin, extensive patches of encrustation on all surfaces.
