Fabric, firing, and surface description
Core out toward surface: 5YR6/2, pinkish gray. Surface interior and exterior: 5YR 8/3, pink. Hard, very granular fabric; splintery break; gritty surface. Numerous, well sorted, subrounded and subangular, mixed, small white, black, red, and brown particles; rare elongated voids. Slight wash and faint, inconsistent brushing.
Preservation comment
One large sherds preserves ca. 20% of upper shoulder to lower neck. Very slight abrasion around edges; worn break; very thin, extensive film of encrustation.
