Amphora. Low sloping shoulder; cylindrical(?) neck. Red dipinto in large letters across joint between shoulder and neck.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale red fabric, more buff at surface; consistently fired. Medium fine, hard; smooth to faintly conchoidal break. Uncommon, well sorted, tiny, white and black and red bits; very rare, medium, angular black particles and very rare, medium, subrounded, white (lime) inclusions, a few at surface; tiny golden mica flakes, uncommon to common. Kenchreai RC22? Slight excess clay smeared across exterior surface.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves small part of shoulder at base of neck. Slight, infrequent abrasion with minor scratching and chipping around edges; worn break.
